If Tallo secures a formal contract with the FiberXers, he will reunite with head coach Aldin Ayo, who mentored him during their time together in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) with the Bicol Volcanoes, as well as in the Chooks 3×3 team when they won the Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3×3 Asia Pacific Super Quest last year.
The familiarity between Ayo and Tallo was evident in their recent reunion when Tallo showcased his explosive skills, finishing a game with an impressive 24 points, including five three-pointers. Tallo, a former first-round pick in the 2017 PBA draft, has had stints with TNT and NLEX before showcasing his talents in the MPBL with teams such as Bacolod, Manila, and Bicol.
