Bank of Baroda offers Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal Facility using UPI on its ATMs

Bank of Baroda has become the first public sector bank in India to offer Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) on its automated teller machines (ATMs). Customers can withdraw cash from Bank of Baroda ATMs without using their debit card. When choosing the option of UPI Cash Withdrawal at a Bank of Baroda ATM, customers enter the amount they want to withdraw, after which the ATM screen displays a unique QR code. Customers then scan the QR code using a UPI app enabled for ICCW then authorise the transaction with a UPI personal identification number on their mobile phone to withdraw cash without the need for a physical card. ICCW makes cash withdrawal easier, as it allows customers to withdraw cash from multiple accounts that are linked to a UPI. Customers who have completed the Know Your Customer process and have not yet received a physical card are eligible for and can benefit from this service. Bank of Baroda has launched the ICCW across its 5,393 ATMs. Customers are allowed two transactions a day per account, with a withdrawal limit of INR5,000 ($68) per transaction.
