In response, Bangladesh posted a total of 382 in the first innings, and the Afghan team failed in their response by being bowled out for 146. Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed were pivotal in achieving the victory, with Shanto scoring two centuries. The match will be followed by a three-match ODI series and a two-match T20I series in Dhaka and Sylhet in July.
