Taking a dig at the Opposition meeting held in Patna, Owaisi highlighted the actions of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar. He mentioned that while Pawar brought Praful Patel along to the meeting, Patel has subsequently joined forces with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This was evident as Patel was present at Ajit Pawar’s oath-taking ceremony on Sunday.
The Opposition meeting in Patna saw Praful Patel, whom Sharad Pawar himself had brought with him, aligning with the BJP today, Owaisi revealed.
Owaisi did not spare the Congress either, as he criticized their claims of being secular. He called on the party to introspect and analyze their own actions, highlighting instances where they have been unfaithful.
Congress is quick to distribute certificates of secularism. However, they need to look inward and see how they have deceived people, Owaisi said.
He further added that every opposition party leader is currently lamenting about the NCP being broken by the BJP. However, Owaisi questioned the morality of buying four MLAs in Bihar, emphasizing that if it is wrong for the BJP to do so, it should also be seen as wrong when the Congress engages in such actions.
