Artificial Intelligence Vulnerable to Targeted Attacks, New Study Reveals, US

The findings of this study emphasize the importance of ensuring the robustness of AI systems before implementing them in critical applications. By identifying and addressing these vulnerabilities, researchers aim to improve the reliability and safety of AI networks.

The paper discussing this research, titled QuadAttacK: A Quadratic Programming Approach to Learning Ordered Top-K Adversarial Attacks, will be presented at the Thirty-seventh Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS 2023). The researchers hope that their work will contribute to further advancements in AI security and bolster the trustworthiness of AI technologies.
