In addition to the arrests, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received reports of various incidents. A Saltillo man reported that his game camera, placed on a power pole along County Road 821, had picked up a photo of a doe before displaying a black screen. The camera’s GPS indicated that it was located at an address on Malone Avenue.

Another incident involved a County Road 484 resident in Shannon, who discovered that a vehicle had veered off the road and destroyed a section of chain-link fencing, potentially due to the recent ice storm.

A woman residing on Glen Lane in Shannon reported an unusual encounter with her six-year-old cat. The feline began scratching her legs, prompting her to retreat to her bedroom and call 911. She described the pet as a personal one that she had owned for several years.

Meanwhile, a Tupelo woman stated that someone had entered her former residence on County Road 1438 in January and stolen several items, including an ice maker, Xbox, computer, window unit, and a sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet. She mentioned past issues with trespassers on the property.

Regarding firearm-related incidents, a Saltillo man reported a missing 9mm pistol from his vehicle, unable to identify the person responsible or the exact time of the theft.

A Mooreville woman expressed concern about a house that recently burned down on County Road 1393. She noted the sudden presence of individuals coming and going from the property, suspecting their activities to be drug-related.

In another peculiar case, a Tupelo resident living on Leon Holland Road informed authorities that a vehicle had driven around their house, causing significant damage to the yard.

Sheriff Jim Johnson urged individuals with information about any of these cases to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Tupelo Police Department, or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi. The agencies can be reached at 841-9041, 841-6491, and (800) 773-TIPS, respectively. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the P3 Tip App.

While the investigations into these incidents continue, the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of the community by apprehending individuals involved in criminal activities.

Note: All arrests and incidents mentioned pertain to the specified time period and do not indicate guilt or conviction until proven in court.
