Arrest Made in Notorious Tupac Shakur Murder Case After 27 Years
In a groundbreaking development, an arrest has finally been made in the long-unsolved murder case of rapper Tupac Shakur. Prosecutors have announced that Duane Keffe D Davis, 60, has been taken into custody and charged with murder, shedding light on one of hip hop’s most enduring mysteries that dates back to 1996.

On the fateful night of September 7, 1996, Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records founder Marion Suge Knight were sitting in a BMW at a red light near the Las Vegas Strip when a white Cadillac pulled up beside them and gunfire erupted. Shakur was fatally shot and succumbed to his injuries a week later at the age of 25.
In his memoir, Davis claimed to have been seated in the front passenger seat of the Cadillac and admitted to having placed a gun in the back seat, from where he alleges the shots were fired.
Tupac Shakur’s untimely demise occurred while his fourth solo album, All Eyez on Me, was still making waves on the charts, with millions of copies sold. Renowned as one of the most influential and versatile rappers of all time, Shakur received six Grammy Award nominations during his career.
