Architect Financial Technologies, a company offering trading infrastructure and regulated brokerages, has successfully raised $12 million in its latest investment round. The funding round was led by BlockTower Capital and Tioga Capital, with participation from new investors CMT Digital, ParaFi Capital, A Capital, and Twelve Below. This brings Architect Financial’s total funding to $17 million since its inception in January 2023.

The increased interest in the U.S. derivatives and tokenized asset markets has prompted Architect Financial Technologies to pursue this additional funding. The company plans to use the capital to launch a U.S. derivatives brokerage, catering to both retail and institutional investors. Furthermore, the funding will support the company’s expansion into the European Union (EU) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. The derivatives brokerage will operate under the CFTC-regulated subsidiary, Architect Financial Derivatives.

Former FTX US President Brett Harrison, who is now the founder and CEO of Architect Financial Technologies, expressed the aim of the company to bridge the gap between high-tech infrastructure and other market participants. In a statement, he emphasized the significance of the U.S. derivatives market and the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge brokerage services in this field.

The successful funding round indicates growing confidence in Architect Financial Technologies’ innovative approach to trading infrastructure and brokerages. The company’s ability to attract notable investors highlights the potential of its derivatives brokerage venture and its plans for expansion into global markets.

Architect Financial Technologies’ ongoing progress in raising substantial funding demonstrates the opportunities and potential present in the evolving landscape of the derivatives market. As the company prepares to launch its U.S. derivatives brokerage and expand its reach, market participants and investors will be keen to monitor its growth and the impact it may have on the broader financial ecosystem.
