Bahrain Court Sentences Man for Forcing Wife into Prostitution
A disturbing case of forced prostitution has led to a man being sentenced to five years in Bahrain. The 50-year-old Arab man orchestrated a devious plan to trick his wife into believing they were going on a honeymoon, only to force her into the horrific world of prostitution with the help of his friend. The ordeal came to light when the woman managed to escape and reported the abuse to authorities, resulting in the arrest of her husband.
Upon their arrival in Bahrain, the woman found herself confined and subjected to relentless abuse in an apartment by the two men.
