AP Sports Event Management is making history with the launch of the Women’s Kabaddi League (WKL), set to take place in Dubai on June 16th. This league brings together 120 female kabaddi players from all over India, while also being broadcast on DD Sports and Euro Sports, making it a major event of international reach. The league is led and managed by a team of prominent figures from the sports community, headed by Pradeep Kumar Nehra, the Director & CEO. His team consists of MD Garima Choudhary, directors Surendra Kumar Dhaka and Jaiprakash Singh, and a variety of other professionals filling technical and coaching roles as Technical Officials, Professor of Physical Education & Coach, and Physios. Additionally, the league has been endorsed by several renowned kabaddi players from India and abroad, like Pradeep Narwal, Gold Medalist Maninder Singh, and Surendra Nada.

The 8 teams participating in the tournament are Rajasthan Raiders, Delhi Dynamites, Gujarat Angels, Great Marathas, Haryana Hustlers, Punjab Panthers, Uma Kolkata, and Bengaluru Hawks. The competition will span for 12 days, with 31 matches comprising of a round-robin stage, followed by playoffs. The Shabab Al Ahli Sports Club in Dubai is the chosen venue, and it is renowned worldwide for its sporting facilities and stadium seating capacity.
