Andhra Pradesh High Court Postpones Hearing on Amaravati Ring Road Case
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has adjourned the hearing on the anticipatory bail petition in the Inner Ring Road case. The case revolves around the construction of the Amaravati ring road. Chandrababu Naidu, the chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), had previously filed an anticipatory bail petition in connection with this case. The High Court had issued an order stating that no arrests should be made in relation to the case. However, the court has now decided to postpone the hearing to November 7th.
In addition, the High Court had already stayed the trial of the PT warrant in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court. This stay has been extended until November 7th, further delaying the proceedings in the ACB court.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu was scheduled to appear before the ACB Court today in the Fibernet case. However, his appearance was halted as the Supreme Court has extended his bail in the case until Friday. The Court also informed that the hearing on his anticipatory bail petition in the Fibernet case has been postponed to Friday. Similarly, Naidu’s SLP (Special Leave Petition) regarding the Skill Development case was also heard, and the verdict will be delivered on Friday.
The developments in these cases involving Chandrababu Naidu have attracted significant attention not only in Andhra Pradesh but across the country. Observers are now eagerly awaiting the court’s decisions, which will have important implications for the political landscape and the future of these cases.
These latest postponements and extensions have added more twists to the legal proceedings, creating suspense and anticipation among legal experts and the public alike. With both the Amaravati ring road case and the Fibernet case being closely followed, the upcoming court hearings will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the direction of these investigations.
As the dates for the hearings draw near, all eyes will be on the Andhra Pradesh High Court and the Supreme Court to shed light on the intricate legal matters surrounding these high-profile cases. The final outcomes will not only affect the individuals involved but will also have broader implications for accountability and the fight against corruption.
