Padma Shri Anand Kumar, the founder of the Super-30 program, focused on the importance of teachers in building a new India in a recent event organized by Sanstha Sarthak in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Kumar emphasized that teachers play a vital role in shaping the nation’s civil and peaceful behavior. He believes that every teacher should inculcate the idea of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ Indian culture, and civilization, in their students’ hearts to secure a beautiful future for them.
According to Kumar, great people, including those in India, have become the best because of their guru’s education and guidance. Teachers can instill feelings of nationalism in their students, and they hold the power to do so.
During the event, Collector Ilayaraja T echoed Kumar’s sentiments, stating that teachers play a significant role in their students’ mental development. A qualified and accomplished teacher can imbibe the feeling of nationalism in students in the best possible way through their teaching style.
The event was attended by more than 400 principals and directors of schools, colleges, and coaching institutes. Several dignitaries such as Cabinet Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav, IDA Chairman Jaypal Chawda, Divisional Commissioner Pawan Sharma, Collector Ilayaraja T, and Vice-Chancellor of DAVV Renu Jain graced the occasion.
Organizer Deepak Jain Tinu said that it is essential to imbibe the value of education and nationalism in students. Senior educationist Krishna Kumar Ashthana, Former Vice-Chancellor Narendra Dhakad, District Education Officer Manglesh Vyas, Press Club President Arvind Tiwari, Omprakash Nareda, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
