Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Madhya Pradesh once again to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Assembly polls in the state. This will be his third visit to the state in the span of just 15 days, highlighting the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) determination to secure victory in the elections. Shah, who is currently overseeing the poll preparation in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, has been actively engaging with party leaders to devise an effective plan for the polls.
The Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh, along with Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram by the end of this year. Currently, both Houses of Parliament are facing adjournments due to the opposition’s demand for a detailed discussion on the violence in Manipur.
Following his visit to Madhya Pradesh, Amit Shah has a packed schedule, which includes a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram and Telangana from July 28-29. During his visit to Rameswaram, he will offer prayers at Rameshwaram Temple before flagging off the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra.
