Ambedkar University Delhi is now accepting applications for its undergraduate courses for the academic session of 2023-24. To apply for the university’s undergraduate program, candidates have to submit their score from the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) examination. Applications can be submitted online at aud.ac.in.
The renowned university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BA History, BA English, BS Hindi, MA, MBA, M.Des., M.Phil., and Ph.D. The university operates on three different campuses located in Kashmere Gate, Lodhi Road, and Karampura.
To secure admission at the undergraduate level, aspiring students have to crack the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), and their previous examination scores will also be considered. For admission to the postgraduate programs, merit, as well as the entrance exam scores, are of utmost importance.
Students seeking admission to the MBA program will have to clear a written exam, followed by an interview. Around 85% of the total seats at Ambedkar University Delhi are reserved for NCT candidates. The academic year is expected to begin on August 1, 2023. Over 4,72,357 applicants have applied for undergraduate programs, and more than 1,92,750 applicants have applied for postgraduate programs in AUD.
As per the Vice-Chancellor of the university, those students who come from households earning less than INR 3 lakh will receive a full fee waiver. Students with a monthly income of INR 3 to 4 lakhs will have their fees waived, while those with a monthly income of INR 4 to 5 lakhs will receive a 50% fee waiver. Similarly, students with a monthly income of INR 5 to 6 lakhs will receive a 25% waiver on their fees. The Vice-Chancellor also stated that the student support system adds up to 39% of the AUD budget.
