Amateur Skateboarders Roll for Brain Cancer Memorial in Epic Wales Journey
In a heartwarming display of friendship and determination, a group of amateur skateboarders known as The Unskateables embarked on an incredible journey across Wales to commemorate their friends who sadly lost their lives to brain cancer. Their goal? To raise funds for Nightingale House, a hospice in Wrexham where the group’s beloved friends received care during their battles.
With little skateboarding experience to their name, the six men set off from Barry Island in south Wales on Friday at 9am, aiming to reach Anglesey on the northwest coast by Sunday. Gavin Rogers, Josh Land, Kyle Harvey, Matthew Gilbert, Craig Salisbury, and Mark Roberts embraced the challenge with open hearts, channeling their determination to support the hospice that provided comfort to their friends in their final moments.
