Former Pakistani cricket captain Salman Butt has cautioned England after Australia’s win at the Edgbaston Test match. Despite their recent victories over India and England, Butt believes the Aussies have not yet played their best cricket this summer. He expressed his opinion on his YouTube channel, saying that if Australia starts playing to their true potential, they could achieve bigger margins in victories. Butt also highlighted that big names like Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne did not fire with the bat in Edgbaston, and bowler Pat Cummins gave away too many runs. Nevertheless, they still managed to win thanks to performances from Usman Khawaja, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, and Travis Head. Despite this, Butt believes they are yet to give their best performance, and if they do, England could be in trouble. The second test will take place at Lord’s on the 28th of June.
