ADNIC Contributes AED 2 Million to UAE Social Initiatives

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) has made a generous contribution of AED 2 million to The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, the official social contribution channel of the Government of Abu Dhabi. ADNIC, a leading regional insurance provider, aims to support societal priorities in areas such as health, education, infrastructure, and the environment through this contribution.

The CEO of ADNIC, Charalampos Mylonas, expressed pride in supporting causes that are important to the company. ADNIC believes that everyone deserves a healthy life and is committed to utilizing its resources to make a positive impact on communities across the UAE. The partnership with The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an plays a significant role in ADNIC’s social responsibility efforts. Ma’an is actively involved in protecting children and enhancing early childhood care and education in the UAE, and ADNIC is proud to support their initiatives. The company looks forward to continuing the partnership in the future.

Her Excellency Salama Al Ameemi, the Director General of Ma’an, expressed gratitude for ADNIC’s consistent contributions since 2019. She affirmed that ADNIC’s contribution will be appropriately allocated to address social priorities and support families in the Emirate. The funds will be used to undertake projects that align with ADNIC’s goals and prioritize long-term social impact. The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an is instrumental in implementing programs that address societal priorities, benefitting approximately 700 individuals through 136 priority projects.

Ma’an provides an exceptional opportunity for corporations in Abu Dhabi to fulfill their corporate social responsibility (CSR) or Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). Contributions made to Ma’an ensure that 100% of the funding is directed towards dedicated initiatives and causes. By supporting critical social priorities across different sectors such as health, education, environment, social sectors, and infrastructure, Ma’an amplifies the impact of corporate social investment and promotes social responsibility among individuals and corporations.

Corporations that make contributions to Ma’an receive the prestigious Abu Dhabi Social Responsibility Label, a government-recognized label that demonstrates their commitment to CSR. This label provides the corporates with the opportunity to effectively communicate their contributions of over AED 1 million. As the only CSR label in Abu Dhabi, it helps maximize the visibility of their contributions.
