As an Administrative Assistant for the OME, the successful candidate will be responsible for responding to inquiries from medical students, faculty, staff, and community members. Minimum qualifications for this position include an Associate’s Degree and one to three years of office experience. This position is a bargaining unit position and is subject to a 4-month probationary period for external candidates. Telework is not available for this role due to the essential functions of the position. Current UVM employees may also be subject to a probationary period if hired. A background check is required for this position.

The salary range for the OME Administrative Assistant position is between $30,400 and $51,680 per year. The hiring salary is budgeted at the mid pay band. This position is classified as a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
