Longding district administration in Arunachal Pradesh has ordered the temporary closure of schools in Kanubari sub-division due to an outbreak of conjunctivitis. In a circular issued by Longding Deputy Commissioner Bani Lego, it was stated that the closure is necessary to prevent the spread of the highly contagious eye infection.
