Adani Foundation has undertaken a noble initiative by organizing a free eye check-up camp at Harli Panchayat Bhawan in Hazaribag village. The event was part of the Gondalpura mining project, and a large number of women, men, and children were examined for their eye health. Hazaribagh’s ophthalmologist, Dr. Parimal Piyush, provided necessary advice to the villagers, who will receive free spectacles in the next camp. A total of ten free eye camps are scheduled in coming months in different villages where patients will receive essential medicines and spectacles free of cost.
To promote this event, an awareness vehicle was flagged off by the villagers, which will inform the villagers about the upcoming free camps. Residents of Gali, Gondalpura, and Balodar marked their presence and lauded Adani Foundation’s continuous efforts to help the people through its numerous programs. Mining Project Head Dharmendra Dubey, Deputy General Manager Sanjay Kumar, Retired DSP Suryakumar Singh, Senior Manager Bhikham Singh, and CSR Manager Mohit Gupta were present at the camp.
Adani Foundation has always put the public’s interests at the forefront by undertaking social development initiatives. Recently, the foundation provided nutritional kits to 70 new TB patients, and most of the 60 TB patients they had earlier adopted have already recovered. On World Environment Day, Adani Foundation planted numerous saplings, and three drinking water centers have been operationally launched for people during the current scorching summers.
Adani Foundation’s various social development programs have helped the less fortunate receive medical, educational, and employment support. Their unwavering commitment to the public’s welfare has made them stand out among others, and their continuous efforts to improve people’s lives are highly commendable.
