Acer has unveiled its latest range of AI-led PCs at CES 2024, featuring Intel Core Ultra processors. The new ‘Swift’ laptops, which include three models – Swift Go 16, Swift Go 14, and Swift X 14 – are powered by artificial intelligence and have been designed to provide an enhanced user experience. The laptops are set to be available in the EMEA and North America regions from February onwards.

According to James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer, the company’s collaboration with Intel has focused on power efficiency, graphics, and AI capabilities. Lin emphasized that the new Acer Swift Go and Acer Swift X 14 laptops represent a significant milestone in the market for AI PCs. These devices are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and feature a brand-new neural processing unit (NPU) to enable AI on client devices.

In addition to the new laptops, Acer has also announced a partnership with chip manufacturer Qualcomm, to introduce two gaming routers. Leveraging the Qualcomm Immersive Home Platform and tri-band Wi-Fi 7 technology, these routers aim to provide stable connections and enhance wireless gameplay.

The first router, named Predator Connect X7 5G CPE, is the first to combine 5G and Wi-Fi 7 tri-band BE11000 throughput. It offers 3.5 Gbps over 5G and an exceptionally low latency of 1 ms. The second router, called Predator Connect T7 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Router, supports Wi-Fi 7 tri-band throughput and seamlessly integrates with multi-unit mesh systems.

Acer’s latest product offerings are expected to captivate tech enthusiasts and gamers alike. With their cutting-edge AI capabilities and powerful processors, the new Swift laptops promise to deliver an exceptional computing experience. The collaboration with Qualcomm further solidifies Acer’s commitment to providing high-performance networking solutions for gamers.

The availability of these new devices in the EMEA and North America regions marks a significant step forward for Acer. The company continues to push the boundaries of innovation, delivering products that cater to the evolving needs of its discerning customer base.

As Acer enters CES 2024 with its impressive lineup, tech enthusiasts eagerly await the opportunity to experience the seamless AI integration and enhanced gaming capabilities offered by these new devices. The future of computing certainly looks promising with Acer at the forefront of technological advancements.
