Accenture, the global IT services company, has announced a $3bn investment in its Data & AI practice over the next three years. The move will provide a range of investments designed to help clients seeking to develop new strategies, operating models and core architectures so they can make the most of AI innovation. Accenture will focus on assets, acquisitions, ecosystem partnerships, industry solutions, talent and ventures, deepening and developing skills and capabilities across predicative, diagnostic and generative AI. Additionally, the company has disclosed its Data & AI practice will double its AI talent to 80,000 professionals through a combination of training, hiring and acquisition. Accenture’s new AI Navigator for Enterprise, a generative AI-based platform, will help clients define business cases, understand algorithms, make decisions, navigate AI journeys and choose architectures in a responsible and compliant way.
