The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest against colleges in Telangana charging high fees illegally. The ABVP leaders alleged that there was inadequate teaching facility in government colleges. Both male and female protestors gathered near the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education campus in Hyderabad to raise slogans against the KCR government. They tried to breach the barricades and enter the Intermediate Board campus. The police were called in to intervene, and they bundled the protestors into police vehicles and detained them. The ABVP demanded justice for students and asked for action to be taken against colleges that charged high fees illegally.
