The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities and the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in Indonesia aims to establish a strategic partnership. The agreement includes the exchange of expertise and experiences, as well as an academic staff exchange program. The universities will also collaborate on joint co-curricular activities and student-focused programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Through this partnership, the universities will engage in joint academic and research projects, training courses, conferences, seminars, and collaborations on doctoral thesis activities. They will also exchange publications, academic bulletins, and other scientific documents.
The signing of the MoU was attended by the Chancellor of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, and the Director of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Professor Dr. Nour Hayati.
Dr. Al Dhaheri highlighted that this partnership aligns with the university’s strategy to strengthen its programs through collaboration with esteemed educational institutions worldwide.
