ABC Secures Exclusive Rights to iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Special After a Decade with The CW
ABC is gearing up for the holiday season as it takes over as the new home for the iHeartMedia’s annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Presented by Capital One. This exciting development comes after more than a decade of the event being broadcast on The CW. The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour is a live music extravaganza that travels to multiple cities in the United States, spreading Christmas cheer along the way. This year, the tour will be stopping in Tampa, Dallas/Fort Worth, LA, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Miami/Fort Lauderdale.
In a new multiyear agreement, iHeartMedia and ABC have announced that the Disney-owned network will be the exclusive television broadcast partner for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. The highlights of the tour will be part of an exclusive network special scheduled to air on December 21 at 8 p.m. ET. The special will also be available for on-demand viewing and on Hulu the following day. For over a decade, The CW has been the home of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour special. However, with changing demographics and the network’s rebranding efforts to move away from targeting a young audience, this shift is not entirely unexpected.

The lineup for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball features a diverse mix of talented artists for select dates. Some of the notable artists included are Olivia Rodrigo, Usher, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Niall Horan, OneRepublic, AJR, Sabrina Carpenter, Miguel, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, NCT DREAM, Flo Rida, and more. For fans who want to experience the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in person, a Capital One cardholder presale will begin on October 3 at 10 a.m. local time and will run through October 5 at 10 a.m. local time, or while presale tickets last. The general public on-sale will begin on October 6 at 12 p.m. local time.
