Members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh, held a protest against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia, accusing him of slapping and threatening their youth wing district president, Arun Parmar. The AAP members raised slogans against Sisodia and filed an application at the Daloda police station, demanding the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the MLA.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday afternoon at Daloda Rail village when MLA Sisodia visited the area. A heated argument ensued between MLA Sisodia and Arun Parmar over the non-construction of a culvert during MLA Sisodia’s visit to his assembly constituency. Parmar expressed his dissatisfaction with the MLA’s response, reminding him of his election promise to construct the culvert. Parmar claimed that even after several years, the culvert had not been built and held MLA Sisodia responsible for it. The exchange of words between Parmar and MLA Sisodia was captured on video and went viral on social media.

AAP party members submitted an application at the Daloda police station on Wednesday, seeking an FIR against the MLA. Parmar alleged that his life was in danger following the incident.

In response to the accusations, MLA Sisodia stated that he had visited a village in his constituency to engage with the villagers and discuss their problems. He claimed that Arun Parmar and the AAP were exaggerating the issue for political gain.

Sanjeev Singh Parihar, the in-charge of Daloda police station, confirmed that they had received a written application and were conducting a detailed investigation into the matter.

It is important to present a balanced view of the incident, taking into account different perspectives and opinions. The allegations made by the AAP against MLA Sisodia should be thoroughly investigated to establish the truth. Both parties have the right to be heard, and the legal process should be followed to ensure justice is served.
