Taiwanese Singer Jimmy Lin Recounts Trauma of 2022 Traffic Accident
Taiwanese singer Jimmy Lin has recently opened up about the harrowing experience and trauma he endured following a severe traffic accident in 2022. Lin, well-known for his music career that began in 1992, spoke about his ordeal on the first episode of the third season of the popular Chinese reality show, Call Me By Fire, which aired on Mango TV last Friday.
During the episode, the 48-year-old artist shared the severity of his injuries and how close he was to facing paralysis. He revealed that while recovering in the hospital, he had to be woken up every few hours to ensure he did not lose consciousness, as medical professionals were concerned about the deterioration of his condition. The traffic accident occurred in Taiwan’s Taoyuan city on July 22, 2022. Lin was driving a white Tesla with his seven-year-old son, Jenson, when the vehicle reportedly collided with a road divider and caught fire. Fortunately, his son emerged unscathed. However, Lin himself was hospitalized for a period of 10 days and underwent two operations to address injuries sustained to his right arm and facial fractures.
