The average Anaheim resident cares as much about the Angels as they do about Mars, which explains why Dodger blue is just as prominent as Halo red within the city.
However, it is essential to acknowledge that some Anaheim officials have prioritized pleasing Moreno over the interests of the city. Approving a plan in 2013 that allowed Moreno to lease 130 acres of parking lots surrounding Angel Stadium for a mere dollar a year, provided he invested $150 million in stadium renovations, showcased this tendency.

The recent developments with Sidhu’s guilty plea only exacerbate the frustration and skepticism felt by the Anaheim community.
