Thane, August 18: Police in Thane, Maharashtra have apprehended four individuals for their alleged involvement in the suicide of a man and his wife. Nandkumar Nanavare and his wife Ujjwala Nanavare tragically ended their lives by jumping from the terrace of their Ulhasnagar home on August 1.

A video of Dhananjay’s shocking finger amputation went viral, attracting widespread attention. In the video, he claimed that a minister was involved in the case and that his late brother had named him prior to their deaths, yet no steps had been taken against the minister. He vowed to continue self-mutilation until justice was served, promising to cut off a body part every week and send it to the government. Following the disturbing incident, Dhananjay hurried to the Phaltan city police station before being promptly transferred to a hospital. Currently, he is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Pune, as confirmed by a police official.
