A delegation of MLAs from India’s state of Meghalaya have praised the efforts of Delhi government schools during their visit. The state lawmakers were impressed by the smart boards, CCTV cameras and clinic provisions in schools. Furthermore, they saw how even the last person in a queue received free medical treatment in mohalla clinics. Chairman of Estimates Committee, Meghalaya Assembly, Mayralborn Syiem said the delegation would endeavour to replicate Delhi’s successful educational approach. AAP MLA Rajesh Gupta accompanied the delegation on their tour.
