Members of the popular girl group Fifty Fifty have broken their silence regarding their ongoing legal battle with their agency Attrakt. In a hand-written letter uploaded on Thursday night, the members expressed their remorse and addressed the misunderstandings and criticisms they have been facing.

The group, consisting of Keena, Saena, Sio, and Aran, stated that they believed in uncovering the truth and hoped that their rights would be protected by the court. They also mentioned the existence of false reports and requested that people stop the excessive criticism and maintain an objective view.

Fifty Fifty took legal action in June, seeking an injunction on their exclusive contracts with Attrakt. They claimed that they had been mistreated by the company and that their income had not been fairly distributed despite the success of their hit dance track Cupid.

In response, Attrakt argued that an outside party, Warner Music Korea, was attempting to poach the members. Attrakt’s CEO, Oscar Jun, revealed that the quartet’s producer, Ahn Sung-il, was collaborating with Warner behind his back.

Ahn, who is the CEO of The Givers, the production company responsible for Fifty Fifty’s music and management, was reported by Attrakt for breach of trust. Subsequently, the girl group members filed for an injunction the following day.

Throughout the legal dispute, the public has largely sided with Jun and Attrakt, labeling the girls as betrayers. However, Fifty Fifty recently reported Jun to the police, accusing him of misusing the company’s budget to pay off debt instead of investing in the band. The members claimed that Jun used approximately $1.5 million of Attrakt’s money to settle a debt for StarCrew ENT, the agency they were previously signed to as trainees.

Fifty Fifty argued that Jun’s actions constituted a breach of trust and had caused damage to Attrakt. They emphasized that the funds used to pay off the debt were sourced from their income while not being under StarCrew ENT.

The ongoing legal battle between Fifty Fifty and Attrakt has garnered significant attention, with fans and the public closely following the developments. As both parties present their perspectives to the court, it remains to be seen how the case will unfold and what the ultimate outcome will be.
