Author Shantanu Gupta has launched a new graphic novel titled Ajay to Yogi Adityanath, which follows the journey of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from his humble beginnings. The launch took place in over 51 schools across the state of Uttar Pradesh, where Gupta presented the book to hundreds of children alongside UP education minister Sandeep Singh and other guests.
Gupta, who has previously written two bestselling titles on Adityanath, stated that the graphic novel showcases Adityanath’s grit, determination, and hard work, with the aim of inspiring young readers. Gupta conducted extensive research, including conversations with individuals who were part of Adityanath’s upbringing, to narrate the story.
The graphic novel’s artistic journey was just as detailed, with the artist team led by Nitesh Kushwaha, Akash Jaiswal, and Pallavi Saxena working meticulously on each panel, dialogue, and page. The graphic novel also includes games and puzzles on Yogi Adityanath, with a QR code that directs readers to a website where they can learn more about the chief minister and Uttar Pradesh.
At the launch, PWD Jitin Prasada and Lucknow MLA Rajeshwar Singh spoke about the significance of Adityanath’s success story and the importance of following one’s dreams and embracing innovation. Gupta’s graphic novel is currently ranking as the number one release in the children’s section on Amazon.
