The sheer mass of the Chipotle burrito made it feel more like a heavy meal, potentially causing drowsiness later in the day. Price-wise, the Qdoba burrito was more affordable, especially considering the extra charge for guacamole at Chipotle.

While the similarities between the two burritos were noticeable, the addition of guacamole at Qdoba and the spiciness of Chipotle’s salsa could sway customers’ preferences. Qdoba’s competitive pricing, along with its planned expansion, may pose a challenge to Chipotle’s market share if Qdoba restaurants are opened near Chipotle locations. Ultimately, the choice between the ass-kicking heat of Chipotle’s salsa and Qdoba’s free guacamole comes down to individual preferences.
