The government of Himachal Pradesh is fully committed to the welfare of the people and is moving forward on the agenda of service to the common man, according to the state’s Deputy Chief Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri. Speaking at a recent public meeting in Panjawar, Una, the Deputy CM expressed his gratitude to the local people for their support in the recent assembly elections and announced that about Rs 13 crore will be spent on the road from Pandoga to Panjawar. This road will be repaired and widened for the benefit of the residents.
Agnihotri went on to assure the people that the government is moving towards completing public welfare works with full commitment. He announced a sanction of Rs 5 lakh for various local development works. Furthermore, he expressed his willingness to address the demands of tube wells and drinking water schemes in Panjawar and its surrounding areas. To this end, Rs 11 crore has been released for the maintenance and repair of tube wells in the Una district.
The Deputy Chief Minister also promised to take necessary action regarding the construction of a new school building in Panjawar. He stated that the state government is determined to meet the needs of the common man and is committed to making Himachal Pradesh a model state in terms of development.
Agnihotri took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh in December 2022. His focus on public welfare is a sure sign that the government is dedicated to serving the people. With his recent announcements regarding the repair of roads and maintenance of tube wells, it is clear that the government is committed to ensuring that basic necessities are met in the state.
