Bitcoin Frontier Fund, previously known as Stacks Ventures, has announced a new accelerator program for startups working on Ordinals, a Bitcoin-based protocol. The program aims to support the growth of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and provide mentorship and seed investments to selected startups. The funding will be split into a $70,000 cash investment and a $30,000 program fee in exchange for an equity stake of 2-3%. Ordinals, introduced by Casey Rodarmor earlier this year, has enabled the creation of NFT-like assets and Bitcoin-native tokens called BRC-20s. The rebranding of the Bitcoin Frontier Fund reflects the transformative impact of Ordinals on the Bitcoin community. Startups accepted into the accelerator program will also gain access to a strong community, mentorship opportunities, and a ticket to the BTC conference. The application window for the program will open soon.
