Additionally, there is a scheduling clash regarding matches involving the four Nigerian teams participating in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup. These teams are set to begin their preliminary stage matches this weekend, raising concerns about conflicting schedules.
To officially commence the new season, the IMC is planning to hold a draw ceremony in Lagos on Thursday. This event will determine the fixtures and matchups for the upcoming season.
