Kannadigas in Balasore train accident ensured safety by Siddaramaiah’s team

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed his condolences over the recent train accident in Odisha and has ensured the safety of Kannadigas. A team led by Minister Santosh Lad has been deployed to ensure the safety of Kannadigas involved in the incident. The Chief Minister has directed concerned officials to provide support to the victims of the accident. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has asked the Odisha government to investigate the cause of the train collision on June 2, which has left 261 people dead and over 900 injured. The Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has ordered a high-level probe and is taking measures to prevent similar accidents in the future. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also visited the injured at the Balasore District Hospital to meet the crash survivors and review the situation. The accident involved three separate tracks and 17 coaches of the passenger trains were derailed and severely damaged.
