Windows 365 Switch: Seamlessly Move Between Cloud PC and Desktop in Windows 11
Microsoft has introduced a new feature called Windows 365 Switch, which allows users to easily transition between a Windows 365 Cloud PC and their local desktop. This functionality is now available in public preview, providing users with a seamless experience within Windows 11.
With Windows 365 Switch, users can move back and forth between the Cloud PC and their desktop using familiar keyboard commands, mouse-clicks, or swipe gestures. This feature aims to enhance productivity by enabling users to seamlessly switch between different computing environments.
The integration of Windows 365 Switch with Windows 11 is made possible through the Task view feature. Once Windows 365 is installed on the endpoint, all relevant elements will automatically appear within the Task view. Task view can be accessed from the Windows Taskbar, next to the Search button.
In recent updates to Windows 11, Microsoft has introduced several new features and improvements. These updates include HDR background support, enhancements to the screen casting experience, inline PC setup from the Cast flyout in Quick Settings, and voice access support upon PC startup.
Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23516, released earlier this month, brought with it these updates and additional improvements to Taskbar notifications and Windows Spotlight. Furthermore, users will now receive a pop-up dialogue if a camera streaming issue is detected, providing guidance to launch the automated Get Help troubleshooter for a resolution.
