Truck Collision in Madhya Pradesh Kills Woman, Leaves Over 20 Injured
A tragic incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh’s Mauganj district early Monday morning, resulting in the death of a woman and leaving more than 20 others injured. According to the police, a truck collided with a private bus traveling from Beohari in Shahdol district to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
The accident took place near Khatkari village on the Rewa-Varanasi highway at around 4 am. As per an official, the bus driver was in the process of changing a punctured tire when the truck hit the stationary bus from behind. Shahpura police station in-charge Abhishek Patel confirmed that a woman lost her life in the collision, and five individuals are currently in critical condition among the injured.
The seriously injured victims have been referred to a hospital in Rewa district, which is located approximately 60 km from Mauganj. The remaining injured individuals are being treated at the Hanumana health center, providing immediate medical attention to those affected by the incident.
