The government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to forgo the installation of idols made of fibre reinforced polymers (FRP) in any religious corridor to be built in the future. This decision was made after the collapse of six of the seven idols of Saptarishis in the Mahakal Lok corridor in Ujjain due to a storm. The upcoming construction of Devi Lok corridor in Salkahnpur will not include FRP statues. The government has stated that when future corridors are built, all the faults that occurred in the Mahakal Lok corridor will be taken into account to avoid similar issues. Furthermore, CM Shivraj Singh has announced the construction of additional Loks, including Ramraja Lok, Hanuman Lok, Jugalkishore Lok, Peetambara Lok, and Maharana Pratap Lok. An investigation into the incident of idol collapse in Ujjain is currently being conducted, and all idols installed in the Mahakal Lok corridor are being examined for quality and potential faults.
