The Jan Chetna Maharally, which was scheduled to take place on June 5 in Ayodhya, has been postponed due to security concerns, confirmed Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Friday. Singh thanked the media, people of Ayodhya, and the entire country for their support, but clarified that the rally had to be postponed due to ongoing police investigations and court orders. Meanwhile, female wrestlers such as Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat have accused Singh of sexually harassing them and have been protesting against him for his alleged behavior. Singh continues to deny the charges against him.
