Odisha GST collections grow by over 11% in May 2023

Odisha has reported a growth rate of 11.17% in the gross GST collection during May 2023, reaching INR 4,397.73 crore, according to a press statement from the state government. The statement also highlighted a 30.28% growth in the OGST & IGST settlement collection, which reached INR 1,675.77 crore during the same period. The state saw a gross GST collection growth of 6.40% up to May 23, bringing the total to INR 9,433.47 crore. Meanwhile, The Commissionerate of CT & GST, Odisha reported a collection of INR 2,711.04 crore generated during the month of May 2023 from various Acts like GST, VAT, Entry Tax, and Profession Tax, representing a growth rate of 17.27% YoY.
