According to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the Narendra Modi government never offered freebies to people in exchange for votes. Instead, the government has focused on implementing public welfare schemes without discrimination. Mandaviya highlighted the country’s progress in the last nine years and the government’s successful handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also revealed that the Modi government has prepared a roadmap for making India an advanced nation by 2047 and has started work on it. The government has done away with the culture of offering freebies and instead focused on empowering the people. Mandaviya claimed that over 12 crore families have benefited from the Ayushman Bharat scheme. However, he criticized the Punjab government for not releasing the money to hospitals on time, preventing people from benefiting from the scheme in that state. The Union Health Minister also mentioned the success of Jan Aushadhi centers and how the country has moved from policy paralysis to decisive policy, and economically from the fragile five to the top five. He criticized the Congress party’s Mera parivar, Mera vikas attitude, pointing out that the Modi government has adopted the policy of sab ka sath, sab ka vikas. Lastly, he emphasized how the world now listens to India when it speaks.
