India is set to have 1,900 Global Capability Centers (GCCs) by 2025, according to a report by consulting firm Zinnov in partnership with Nasscom (the Indian IT industry’s association). GCCs provide a hub for a variety of a company’s operations to be managed, building competencies, global leadership, and monetising services. The report — called GCC 4.0–India Redefining the Globalization Blueprint — suggests the GCC market will be valued at $60bn by 2025.
