Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) and AarogyaPlus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a move to increase healthcare accessibility. The Center for Craniofacial Anomalies, Yenepoya and AarogyaPlus, a rural healthcare initiative, are collaborating to provide comprehensive care to patients with cleft lip and /or palate and craniofacial deformities from rural areas. The agreement marked the beginning of a great partnership, as both organisations have come together to cater to these communities that lack access to health care. The signing ceremony took place at the Yenepoya campus in Deralakatte and was attended by leaders of both organisations, including Dr Akhter Husain, Director of the Center for Craniofacial Anomalies, and CEO of AarogyaPlus, Ashwin L Shetty. The event began with an invocation and presentations from both organisations that highlighted the significance of this partnership. This collaboration will undoubtedly bring positive change to healthcare accessibility in rural areas.
