India’s T20I Squad Faces Batting Concerns: Predicted XI for Crucial 3rd Match vs WI

India’s T20I tour of the West Indies has gotten off to a rough start, with the visitors struggling to perform with the bat and falling short in both matches. The team, led by Hardik Pandya, features a group of talented young players who are looking to establish themselves as the future of Indian cricket. However, they will need to turn things around quickly and start producing results if they want to succeed.

One major concern for India has been their batting lineup, which has failed to impress in the first two matches. Both Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan have struggled against the new ball, and it might be tempting for coach Rahul Dravid to hand a white ball debut to Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal’s impressive performances in the IPL and the Test series make him a perfect replacement.

Another change that could be made is moving Sanju Samson up the order to number 3. While he has been used lower down in the batting lineup, many fans believe that his best position is at number 3. This move would give him a chance to showcase his skills and silence any doubters. Additionally, Suryakumar Yadav has been effective batting at 4 or 5 and could rotate positions with debutant Tilak Varma in the middle-order. Hardik Pandya himself might need to shift down to number 6 in order to provide the team with power-hitting and flexibility.

On the bowling front, Pandya has been a standout performer, opening the innings with the new ball and taking three wickets in the last T20I. Axar Patel also adds depth to the bowling attack and can provide economical control as well as powerplay overs if needed.

In terms of the seamers, Arshdeep and Mukesh Kumar are likely to retain their places in the team due to the sluggish conditions in Guyana. However, the management might consider giving Umran Malik and Avesh Khan some match time to keep all their seamers involved.

In the spin department, Kuldeep Yadav played in the first match but was replaced by Ravi Bishnoi in the second T20I. However, Yadav might be brought back to counteract the West Indies’ strong left-handed trio of Kyle Mayers, Nicholas Pooran, and Shimron Hetmyer.

Overall, India’s T20I squad needs to address their batting concerns and start delivering better performances with the bat. The upcoming third match against the West Indies will be crucial, and the team will need to step up to secure a win and get their tour back on track. It remains to be seen if the predicted XI will be able to turn things around and produce the desired results.
