Police in Delhi have discovered the highly decomposed bodies of an elderly woman and her daughter with injury marks. The deceased were identified as Rajrani Lal, a retired All India Radio official, and her daughter, Ginni Karar (30). A neighbour called the police complaining of a foul smell emanating from a flat in Krishna Nagar’s E Block. Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the maggot-infested bodies in a highly decomposed state. The entrance of the flat had a twin locking system that could only be opened with authorisation. Police suspect murder and an investigation has been launched. Multiple teams have been formed to arrest the culprits.
