Rapper Tory Lanez could face a sentence of up to 22 years in prison after being convicted of three felonies in December. The 31-year-old artist, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is expected to be sentenced on Monday for shooting hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion in the feet and causing injuries. Megan testified during the trial that Lanez fired a handgun at her feet and demanded that she dance as she walked away from an SUV they were riding in the Hollywood Hills during the summer of 2020. Apart from the potential prison sentence, Lanez also faces the possibility of deportation to Canada, his home country.
