Amari Jefferson, a talented 2024 wide receiver from Chattanooga, Tennessee, has made his commitment to the University of Alabama, boosting their already impressive recruiting class. The Crimson Tide managed to secure Jefferson’s commitment over the in-state rival, the Tennessee Volunteers, as well as the Georgia Bulldogs.
Jefferson is highly regarded as a four-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, and is ranked 209th overall nationally. Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 200 pounds, he currently plays for Baylor School, showcasing his skills on the field.
In the recruiting process, Alabama’s tight ends coach, Joe Cox, played a significant role as Jefferson’s primary recruiter. Additionally, Holmon Wiggins, the assistant head coach of offense and wide receivers, contributed as the secondary recruiter.
Jefferson’s commitment marks the first addition to Alabama’s 2024 class in August, making him the fourteenth player overall to join the talented group. He joins the likes of fellow four-star receivers Jameer Grimsley and Rico Scott, solidifying the Crimson Tide’s receiving corps.
