Dalimss Sunbeam Group of Schools in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, is among the first schools in India to introduce esports as part of the learning curriculum. The phenomenon, known as electronic sports, is a growing extracurricular activity in K-12 schools that seeks to promote student engagement and social inclusion, as well as inspire students to pursue education or careers in STEAM fields, such as game design, computer science, data analysis, broadcasting, music production, or graphic design. The school recently hosted VEC.23, a two-day esports championship, in association with MysteriaEsports, the largest esports event ever organized by a school in India, aimed at showcasing the numerous benefits of gaming on learning and development. The school has nurtured an innovative curriculum and internationally accepted teaching-learning methods, ensuring that every student benefits from quality learning in a nurturing environment. Under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Pradeep Madhok – current President, and Mrs. Pooja Madhok – Director, it has grown into a prominent academic institution in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and has opened various branches.
